I am a BACP accredited counsellor with experience of working with both adults and children in a wide range of settings. I have worked for national children's charities as a counsellor and supervisor,  and currently work in palliative care as Spiritual Care Lead, supporting patients, families and staff at a local hospice.

As a Buddhist, I have been practising meditation and mindfulness for 25 years, and have experience of teaching mindfulness in a variety of contexts, both one-to-one and in groups.  I integrate mindfulness-based approaches into my counselling when appropriate, and can also offer sessions specifically focused on mindfulness.

I offer workshops exploring mindfulness in different ways and am increasingly drawn to working therapeutically in connection with the natural world. I am currently exploring Wild Therapy - taking therapy into the wild, and bringing the wild into therapy - and plan to develop my outdoor therapeutic work over the coming months.
