Winter Well: daily reflection, nourishment and connection throughout January

The start of a new year can offer a sense of hope and new beginnings, but January can also be a challenging time as we face the prospect of short cold days and long dark nights. We can use this naturally reflective time of year to tune into the rhythms of nature and learn to winter well: to slow down, turn inward and reflect more deeply, quietly nurturing seeds of hope and possibility for the year ahead.

Winter Well is an invitation to participate in a month-long reflective exploration, either on your own or in connection with others. Daily offerings in your inbox will provide sources of nourishment, reflection and inspiration to help sustain you through the month, and encourage a deeper connection with both yourself and the natural world. There will also be opportunities for meaningful connection with others via relaxed and reflective Zoom gatherings throughout the month.

There are two main ways to participate, depending on whether you would like to undertake this exploration on your own or more in connection with others.

A £30 bucket gives you:

  • a reflective offering in your inbox every day for the 31 days of January, including guided audio meditations, nature-based reflections, simple creative exercises and mindfulness practices to integrate into everyday life

  • access to a closed Facebook group to connect with others if you would like to, sharing your photos, poems, reflections and inspiration

A £50 bucket gives you:

  • a reflective offering in your inbox every day for the 31 days of January, including guided audio meditations, nature-based reflections, simple creative exercises and mindfulness practices to integrate into everyday life

  • access to a closed Facebook group to connect with others if you would like to, sharing your photos, poems, reflections and inspiration

  • access to four Hearthside Hour gatherings during the course of the month, for an opportunity to connect with others via reflective and relaxed Zoom sessions that I will host. Daytime, evening and weekend options will be available. The fire will be lit and the welcome will be warm!

For those who would like to connect with others more frequently throughout the month, you are welcome to join us for additional Hearthside hours for a suggested donation of £5 per session.
